Anil Kapoor is unequivocally indicating no marks of reducing down! At an experience when actors root out it challenging to identify significant roles, Anil is taking both the East and West by storm. Notwithstanding he is surely getting straight to the point regarding it.

Having finished shooting for Mission Impossible 4 with Tom Cruise, he seems to be ready to take Hollywood by storm. Well this is definitely not his first encounter with H-town having starred previously in Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire and the series 24. And if you thought that he is all set to mould himself into their cast, you thought wrong. Anil, whose No Problem released this Friday, stated on Encounter with Omar that he would love Tom Cruise to make that movie.

And he seems all out to make them do movies Bollywood ishtyle. “I am going to corrupt them and make them dance to Bollywood numbers.
Tom Cruise ke saath toh main karunga 100%. I’ll see to it that very soon Hollywood actors will be dancing with Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif,” he said cheekily adding that it will be them who will be influenced by him and not vice versa. When asked the pretty obvious question as to how the experience of working with Cruise was, he remarked that they should ask Tom about his working experiences with him instead. Well Tom Cruise already has expressed his gratitude on Twitter - with the use of a Google translator! - by tweeting. Well it seems that what Yash Raj failed to do 15 years ago with Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Anil Kapoor may well pull it off with his camaraderie. No Problem, right Anil?

Anil Kapoor has been signed an important role in Hollywood

After Slumdog Millionaire, actor Anil Kapoor who has been reportedly getting constant offers from Hollywood has given his nod to another plum international project. The actor has been signed to essay an important role in one of the biggest film series of Hollywood, Mission Impossible. Though his role is a tight secret at this point of time, it is a very important one nonetheless.

Confirming the new development, Kapoor said, “At this point, I can only say that I’ve been contacted for Mission Impossible 4, and I have said yes for the role.” The actor who refuses to divulge anything more has been told to be tight-lipped about the role by the Hollywood studio. According to sources, Kapoor has been approached by the franchise to essay a negative role in the film. Kapoor would be starring in Mission Impossible 4 alongwith Hollywood’s top-most actor - Tom Cruise, and Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg.

The actorrecently was also appreciated in 24, one of the most watched television series in US.With MI 4, Anil Kapoor is,perhaps,become India’s biggest export to Hollywood.

Anil Kapoor says he is tired

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor says he is tired of his link to Oscar winning film "Slumdog Millionaire" and wants to move on.

The 50-year-old star played game show host Prem Kumar in Danny Boyle’s 2008 movie.

In an interview to Britain’s GMTV, Anil urged his fans and friends to stop asking him about his "Slumdog..." success, reports contactmusic.com.

"It was such a long time (ago). Very nostalgic, but I want to get over it. I want to forget about it but people won’t let me forget about it. I just want to move on. Please, let’s move on. I’d been in 100, more than 100 films, (before Slumdog)," he said.

Anil Kapoor talks about his wife

Anil Kapoor is on a high as Aisha is due to release. It’s the third film under the banner of his production company and the film sees his younger daughter Rhea debuting as a producer. This is also older daughter Sonam’s first film with the company.

The proud dad says,“I’ve always found women superior to men. I am not saying that for the sake of it but I have always treated women that way. You can ask my wife considering she has been with me for the last 28 years,” he adds.

The actor has produced two films earlier but says he does not want to do it anymore. “I’m more an actor and I love acting. Rhea is more passionate about producing and in future she will produce the films we make,” he says. Interestingly, his wife Sunita has always been low profile and is not seen at many parties. Anil says she likes it that way. “She has always been camera shy. She does not want to be recognised. She likes being able to go to Dadar when she needs to buy flowers and to the market when she needs to buy vegetables or fish,” says Anil. “She enjoys being a mother more than being a celebrity. That’s what she wanted to be. The reason my kids have grown up so well is because of their mother” he admits.

He gives credit to his wife for his fitness too. Sunita is known to keep a tight leash on the diet and lifestyle of her family and that helps Anil look young. “You should have a good atmosphere at home. That’s what keeps a person happy, if you are happy then you don’t want to indulge in other things like getting drunk or smoking,” says the 51-year-old.

Having acted in the very popular series 24, he believes there is more to do. “There is so much that I am yet to do. My career internationally has just kicked off. So the world is my stage now,” he adds.

Anil was jovial best at the event

Anil Kapoor literally gatecrashed the music launch of his daughter’s forthcoming film Aisha. But before the gossip mills start running, allow us to tell you that it was just a joke!

Turns out that Anil was at his jovial best at the event. The actor began by saying that the reason why he gatecrashed was because he wasn’t invited to the event. “This is the worst day of my life. My daughters didn’t even invite me. It was my driver who informed me about the event and that’s how I gatecrashed here,” he said.

Anil’s other daughter Rhea Kapoor is producing the film that also stars Abhay Deol opposite Sonam Kapoor. Aisha is an adaptation of the classic British novel, Emma by Jane Austen and has Sonam playing the lead protagonist. Directed by Rajshree Ojha, the film has been shot in Delhi, Mumbai and Hrishikesh.

Interestingly Aisha had an all-women team, including the director herself. Anil, who feels proud of his daughters and the entire crew says, “There’s a lot of young energy that shows in the movie.”
The actor further revealed that though he was a part of the project, he couldn’t get involved as he was out of the country during the shoot. “I was busy shooting for my American series 24. But mentally and morally I supported them. The creative input was entirely theirs. I’m happy to see how they’ve grown to be independent women.
Whenever Rhea would call me while facing a problem, she would talk to me like a producer and not as a daughter. In fact after some time I was even scared to take to her calls!” he laughs.

A fire broke out on the sets of Anil Kapoor’s Aisha

Recently, a fire broke out on the sets of Anil Kapoor’s Aisha. Luckily there were no major damages and no one was grievously injured.

On Thursday afternoon, the incident happened because of an electrical problem at Filmistan Studios in Goregaon where the shooting was on. However, the fire wasn’t of great magnitude and was controlled within 15 minutes. As there wasn’t much damage on the sets, the shooting will resume in two days time.

According to a fire brigade control officer, the fire damaged the curtains and electrical wire on the sets. For precaution sake, four to five trucks were dispatched.

Anil Kapoor 'Aisha' Movie is now on a break

The unit of Anil Kapoor Productions’ ’Aisha’, which was being shot in Delhi for the last two months, is now on a break. The unit has just wrapped up the film’s two month long Delhi schedule and is back in Mumbai.

The film’s leading stars are Sonam Kapoor , Abhay Deol, Arunoday Singh and Ira Dubey and is directed by Rajshree Ojha. The next schedule of the film will take place in Mumbai, where it will first be shot on actual outdoor locations before moving indoors.

The film is said to be based on the English novel, Emma. Abhay, who stepped into the film as a favour to Anil Kapoor, is also believed to have reduced his remuneration for the movie to help his producer.
