Imran Khan, who recently got married to his long time girl friend Avantika Malik is enjoying a much needed break in Goa. The cute looking actor and his wife are having a gala time in Goa and Imran is leaving no stone unturned to please his better half.

 The ‘Break Ke Baad’ star is learning to make exotic beverages. And since November last year, Imran had been working relentlessly. He flew of to Thailand for a short honeymoon immediately after his wedding but couldn’t do justice to his newly wed wife. So the young actor is now in a mood to unwind and make the most of the current break.
Talking to a daily, a source close to kid Khan said, “Imran is at a close friend Chinu’s restaurant in North Goa, a secluded area, frequented mostly by foreigners and some locals. Imran took off with a group of friends and his wife Avantika and visited this restaurant, where he was thrilled to watch the bartenders at work. So impressed was the actor that he expressed the desire to learn their work. His friend immediately made the arrangements.”

Just recently, Knot with long term Imran Khangirlfriend Avantika Malik but he apparently has got no time for honeymooning.

Both exchanged vows in January and got married in Mumbai after which they were slated to visit Hawaii for a 3-day trip. However, he hasn’t been able to squeeze out time from his grueling work schedule owing to which the plans of honeymooning have been temporarily shelved.

He is currently shooting for two films- Karan Johar’s ‘Short Term Shaadi’ and Yash Raj’s ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ with male lead in them

Another Hot Bollywood Couple had to let go of their honeymoon plans due to work commitment. Neelam Sameer Soni, too, have decided to wait for their honeymoon trip as Sameer has a couple of projects to take care of. They are thinking of going out of the country in the end of March.

• New Year rings in with celebration time for Bollywood actor Imran Khan. Only three days ago after he tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Avantika Malik, the chocolate boy of industry today celebrated his 28th birthday.

Buzz has it that Imran is in Phuket, Thailand, where he is enjoying his honeymoon along with his newlywed wife and giving them company are fifty close relatives of the sweet couple.

Imran and Avantika are on a three-day visit to Thailand and with his birthday coming in the midst makes the whole affair all the more special.

Yet, Imran’s vacations are soon to end as a lot of projects are waiting the actor, something which Imran maintains that he is looking forward to quite an eventful 2011.

Till recently, he’s been shooting for the Yashraj film ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ along with Katrina Kaif. Imran will also be seen in uncle Aamir Khan’s home production ‘Delhi Belly’. Apart from it, he is also pairing with Kareena Kapoor for the first time ever in Karan Johar’s production, tentatively titled ‘Short Term Shaadi’.

Among the host of new jodis that are set to light up the silver screen, the Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone one is the best.

In our new poll we had asked them to vote on the next hottest jodi and the options included the pairings of Imran Khan-Katrina Kaif (in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan), Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh (Band Baaja Baarat), Abhishek Bachchan-Deepika Padukone (Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se) and Imran-Deepika (Break Ke Baad).

The Imran-Kat and Imran-Deepika jodis were neck-to-neck throughout the poll but the latter jodi eventually overtook the former one, grabbing 47 percent of the total 2821 votes. With the buzz around Break Ke Baad building up fast, the Imran-Deeps jodi topped the poll while Imran-Kat came a close second with 44 percent votes for their film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

The Abhishek-Deepika jodi came third with only 5 percent votes. The promos of Ashutosh Gowarikar’s film Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se might be promising, but the Abhi-Deeps jodi certainly doesn’t excite the movie buff.

The last was Anushka-Ranveer jodi which will be seen in the Yashraj Film Band Baaja Baaraat.

Wedding bells for Imran Khan

So it’s official. Invitations are being sent to close family friends for Imran Khan’s marriage to Avantika Malik.The actor will tie the knot with his fiancee on January 8 next year at Karjat where the Maliks have a farmhouse.

The couple was engaged at the same location on January 15 this year. Says a source, “Though the wedding is two months away, preparations are in full swing. Close friends on the guest list were sent SMSes and told over the phone to keep themselves free on January 8 from 5 pm to 5am. The message stated that a formal invite and the wedding card would follow later.”

The invitations were sent out on Diwali. “Diwali is considered an auspicious time to start inviting for marriages,” the source says. “The Maliks are planning a dusk to dawn bash for the wedding.”

Aamir Khan’s celebrity nephew’s engagement began with a brunch followed by the ceremony and dinner in the evening. As a special gift on the occasion, Imran had gifted Avantika a Volkswagen Beetle.

The engagement invitation was in the shape of a metal box with a bottle full of sand. The invite has been rolled into the bottle.

Ever since his Bollywood debut in 2008 with ‘Jaane Tu’, Imran has always been open about his relationship with Avantika.

Bollywood actor Imran Khan has finally bagged his first film under the Yash Raj banner and will be seen romancing actress Katrina Kaif in the yet-to-be-titled film.

The film, a romantic comedy, is written and directed by debutant Ali Abbas Zafar and will be produced by Aditya Chopra. It is scheduled for a 2011 release and will go on the floor mid-September.

This is the first time Imran and Katrina will be seen sharing screen space.

Youth icon Imran Khan is a rage among youngsters these days. His latest ‘I hate Luv Storys’ has been such a impressive success that Karan Johar has signed the actor for his next production venture with none other than Bebo in the lead. Imran had long cherished a dream to work with Kareena.

Scheduled to start in December this year, this love story will apparently be directed by a newcomer, Shakun Batra who has recently joined Dharma Productions. It was Imran who suggested Shakun to Karan. Shakun has already shown his skills as an assistant in ‘Rock On’ and ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’.

Talking to a news daily, an all beaming Imran Khan said, “Yes it is true that I am doing another film with Karan Johar. The film will be directed by Shakun but beyond that, I can’t confirm anything on the casting front. Shakun has been a friend ever since he joined the industry and was a second assistant director on Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. He has written the script with our mutual friend Aayesha”

Last weekend, Imran was in Dubai to promote his upcoming movie I Hate Luv Storys.

It so happened that, the actor was shaking hands with his fans, after stepping out of the club, when a crazy female fan shook his hand, but wouldn’t let go of it. Initially, Imran did not mind. But she kept holding Imran’s hand, and when the security intervened and tried to take her away, the girl bit his hand.

Yes, the girl actually sank her teeth into Imran’s flesh. The actor yelled in pain and that’s when the security guards used force to pull the girl away from Imran.

From what we hear, the girl was obsessed with Imran and wanted to kiss his hand. But she got angry when security intervened. That’s when the kiss turned into a bite.

Imran married Juhi

Born into a film family has its advantages. Imran Khan chuckles, “During the making of my maamu Aamir’s starrer, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1989), I was four years old. I had a huge crush on the film’s heroine, Juhi Chawla. I even proposed to her and gave her a ring which she accepted. We got married.”

Grinning mischievously from ear to ear, he says, “The relationship didn’t work out, but she is my first wife. I still feel very bad about it (not working out).”

Three film-old Imran Khan says he had an eternal crush on Juhi Chawla and that he would love to work in a film like “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak”, which was his uncle Aamir Khan’s debut vehicle.

“While growing I had a huge crush on Juhi Chawla. I loved her in ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’. I actually proposed to her as a child,” Imran told reporters at the Landmark book store at Infinity Mall. He was here to unveil a special two-book collection of Mills & Boon series based on his forthcoming movie “I Hate Luv Storys”.

“I would love to act in a film made similar to ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’,” he added.

The actor, who plays a non-romantic guy in “I Hate Luv Storys”, insists he’s very old fashioned and traditional when it comes to love in real life.

“I am a very old fashioned and traditional guy when it comes to love. The proof of this is I have been with the same girl for the last eight years,” said Imran, who is engaged to Avantika Malik.

Asked what qualities he looks for in a girl, he said, “Apart from physical attractiveness, I like if the girl is funny and cracks jokes, however, at the same time someone with whom I can also have an intellectual conversation. A lot of girls say they like funny guys. This is true for guys also as they like girls with good sense of humour.”

Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone will be next in-thing couple, for they are said to be paired up for a film!

After directing few impressive films, Kunal Kohli is turning to produce his first film this time. Titled ’Break Ke Baad’, the film will be directed by Danish Aslam and, like the title denotes, is said to be a modern love story of a couple who break up and want to come together. The film’s backdrop is set against the locales of Delhi and Australia.

Ahem, ‘Break Ke Baad’ truly seems to be a queer coincidence after our tall beauty’s break up with her beau Ranbir …..
