Rakhi Sawant plays sex teacher in QASAM SE QASAM SE.

The item bomb Rakhi Sawant is back with a bang as a sex teacher as she plays Delnaz Doodhwala in the film QASAM SE QASAM SE.

Born and brought up abroad, Rakhi is appointed by a school to impart sex education in the film which is being directed by debutante Ashfaque Makrani and will mark the debut of Azim & Faith.

The film is expected to be high on Rakhi’s Masala her role would be very hatke. She recently shot for a song by Mika Bol ne mein kya jata hai and with it ended their war.

As seen in the still, Rakhi is doing an item song while Azim the lead protagonist and his gang trying to grab her attention.

Rakhi Sawant criticises Shah Rukh Khan

Rakhi Sawant has highlighted the poor viewing figures of Shah Rukh Khan's new television show.

The actress told Mid Day that her recent programme has been better received than Khan's Indian edition of the Total Wipeout format.

"My Rakhi Ka Insaaf on the same channel had more viewership than Zor Ka Jhatka," said the former background dancer.

Sawant, who is known for her outspoken nature, also went on record last year to criticise foreign actors and dancers working in the Hindi film industry.

The two stars appeared together on stage at the 2007 launch of the Bindass television channel.

The actress also featured in a small role in the Khan hit Main Hoon Na.

Rakhi Sawant will be in reality show

No time for Marriage says Rakhi Sawant

Item girl Rakhi Sawant, who had her “swayamwar” on television but broke off her engagement, says she has no plans to get married soon because she is too busy with work.
“I have not thought of getting married anytime soon. I have been doing a lot of shows. And now I am doing my own ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’. So I am very busy with my work,” Rakhi told reporters via video conference here.
In her new show on NDTV Imagine starting Oct 16, the 31-year-old will be talking to families in a bid to resolve their problems related to dowry, extramarital affairs, divorce and property disputes.
“Whatever cases have come to us, we have thoroughly looked into them and collected evidence before taking them up. I don’t know about the law but I would be making judgment with my heart,” she said.
Rakhi is unfazed although Bollywood action hero Akshay Kumar’s comeback show “Master Chef India” will also kickstart on Star Plus Oct 16, luckily at a different time.
The item girl insists her show is the best. “Mera show sabhi shows ka baap hai (My show is the best of all),” she said.

Rakhi was the star of the reality show “Rakhi Ka Swayamvar”, where she selected Canadian businessman Elesh Parujanwala as her life-partner and teamed up with him in another reality show. “Pati, Patni Aur Woh”. But post “Pati…”, the two parted ways

Rakhi Sawant involved in Social issues

It seems that reality shows have gone down well with drama queen Rakhi Sawant. After ‘Big Boss’, ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamvar’, ‘Zara Nachke Dikha’, ‘Pati, Patni Aur Who’, ‘Desi Girl’ and ‘Raaz Pichle Janam Ka’, she is ready with yet another reality show, this time with a difference thought.

The show conceptualized by Imagine TV will be dealing with social issues, with out any legal involvements in it. Murder, robbery, drugs or extra-marital affairs - whatever the problems, item girl Rakhi Sawant - who has a knack for getting into controversies - will now be seen solving problems on ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’.

Talking about the show and on choosing Rakhi Sawant to be an integral part of it, the producer of the show Moti Sagar says, “I always wanted a girl to be a part of this show, one who has faced the problems in reality. In my opinion, who has been through hard time, is the one who can do justice to the people who come on the show, and nobody fits the bill perfectly other than Rakhi.”

Rakhi commented, “Even though no one takes me seriously regarding my passion for social work, but through this show, people will get a chance to know me. I will only support the truth, be it a girl or boy, I will make sure my judgments are unbiased. Whatever decisions will be made, will be ‘dil se’( from heart), just as the title of the show says ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf… Dil se’.

‘The moment I was offered this show, I was extremely excited. I was told it is nothing like what I have done before. I always wanted a show where I could come face-to-face with aam janta (common man). This show will help me in solving their problems in my unique style,’ she said adding, “Mujhe kanooni daav pech nahi aate (I don’t know legal terminology) but I know how to think from my heart. I will not provide any legal assistance to anyone, but I will listen to their problems and give the best solution that I can.”

The big mouthed Rakhi even compares her show to Kiran Bedi’s ‘Aap Ki Kachehri’ on Star Plus. ‘I respect Kiran Bediji a lot, so please don’t compare my show with her’s. I have no knowledge about legal procedures. This show is like my social service,’ she said.

Now, this one is just too far-fetched Rakhi!!!

Rakhi Sawant made a public apology to Abhishek`s mother

Item girl Rakhi Sawant has reportedly buried the hatchet with ex-beau Abhishek Awasthi and apologised to his mother for her mistakes on the reality show ‘Zara Nachke Dikha’.

A source said that Rakhi became emotional and made a public apology to Abhishek`s mother who was present on the sets for the mother`s special episode shoot. Rakhi even hugged her.

Abhishek`s mother too became emotional on seeing Rakhi and Abhishek dancing together and confessed that Rakhi always was and will continue to be like her daughter and that she wants them to reunite.

Abhishek and Rakhi are sharing a public platform for the first time after their much-publicised breakup. Earlier, they were seen as a couple on ‘Nach Baliye’.

Rakhi Sawant has decided to file a legal suit against the censor board

Look who’s taking on the Censor Board! None other than the spitfire siren Rakhi Sawant , who’s fuming red because the board recently issued a decree to delete or bleep out the word ‘kamine’ from her latest song ‘Bhoot’.

As reported by a daily, the hot girl has decided to file a legal suit against the censor board along with IshQ Bector, as the duo feel the board’s action is unjust. The song ‘Bhoot’ is from Rakhi and IshQ’s latest album ‘Jhagde’ and the main chorus of the song starts with the line, ‘Kamine tera bhoot chad gaya re.’

Now, Rakhi’s point is, “When they can pass an entire film called Kaminey, what sense does it make to delete the word ‘kamine’ from our video, and that too, without giving us any reason whatsoever.” Rakhi is co-producing ‘Jhagde’ with IshQ, who is also the singer and composer of the entire album. He also feels that by deleting the word ‘kamine’, the impact of the song has been “killed” and this has even “sabotaged” the album sales.

Surprisingly, the Board seems to have problem only with the video as they had passed the ‘promos’ of the track that has the same ‘kamine’ chorus. Why they banned the word for the video is a mystery.

Rakhi Sawant called her fiancé Elesh Parujanwala an uncultured man

Latest updates from Rakhi Sawant’s side - she called her fiancé Elesh Parujanwala, a firangi and an “uncultured man” on national television during the show, ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh’.

But why? Elesh, her screen fiancé, answers this, “Ever since we’ve been together, she has tried her best to get rid of me,” he told a daily. Elesh, who has had enough of Rakhi from the day they got engaged on show ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamvar’ , is now an unhappy man who tried his best to save the relation, but alas, his could-be-wife used him as a “scapegoat” for her career only to later come up with excuses like he is too good for her or that he should find someone better.

Elesh even admitted that their relationship has become a huge drama -“It’s not just me and my family, but the entire public that’s feeling cheated. For me, it was reality and for her, it was a show.”

As for now, Rakhi has called-off the engagement and told Elesh that she wants to concentrate on her career. And the man is not going to beg or beseech her for anything as he invested everything in this relationship and was “shattered” when it ended. Indeed, a good and wise step.

Rakhi made everyone pray in a hip-hop style to the towel Ganpati

The kids arrived with their celebrity parents dressed for the occasion in cute nightdresses. Rakhi had arranged for a super spread that included French fries, French toast, strawberry milkshake and Chinese noodles.

The item girl amused the kids by making an elephant out of a towel, something she learnt during her housekeeping job. She then made everyone pray in a hip-hop style to the towel Ganpati. The kids then played musical chairs and learnt to make different objects with clay. On their demand, Rakhi also did a small jig for them. Elesh added to the fun by jumping all over the house pretending to be a monkey; he also started off a pillow fight with the kids.
