Salman gets angry with Ranbir Kapoor

salman-khan_71

Ranbir Kapoor is nowadays seen getting very close to Salman’s ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif. They started getting close from their very first movie together ’AJAB PREM KI GAZAB KAHANI’.

Reliable sources say that Salman is very angry on this closeness and he called up Rishi Kapoor and said that keep Ranbir in control and tell him to stay away from Katrina. Well Ranbir you have to be much aware now because it’s Salman Bhai.

Recently both Katrina and Ranbir were seen coming together at Karan Johar’s party and both even left together. Ranbir also took Katrina on a ride in his new Audi. Both were even seen together for dinner. They were even seen secretly kissing in the flight. Must say that you both are really getting very close.

After this entire episode, how come Salman won’t get angry, after all Katrina is one who is near to his heart. When it was asked to Rishi kapoor about it he said he is busy and didn’t reply.

Sallu-SLB clash got Hrithik into a fix

sanjay_leela_bhansali[1]1

Well, the relationship between the once good friends Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan has not been on the good lines for so long now. Salman was Bhansali’s first hero in Khamoshi which he followed up with Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

But, the Sallu-SLB clash got Hrithik into a fix. Apparently, Salman had a dig at Bhansali about Guzaarish which actually left Hrithik offended. Hrithik’s reaction to Salman’s statements was quick as he soon texted him back saying that he was disappointed.

Only later did Hrithik realise that Salman’s comments were directed at Bhansali and not at him. Finally, poor Duggu had to apologise for the same.

Looks like nothing went right for Hrithik in 2010. Don’t worry Hrithik, 2011 is just around the corner.

A Cold war between Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

Salman1

What began as a trivial verbal spat has now taken the proportion of an all-out clash. Salman Khan has drawn the battle line with Hrithik Roshan.

In case you’ve missed out, here’s a quick recap. At a charity event recently, Salman Khan made some uncharitable comments about director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his film Guzaarish. In response, Hrithik had hit back at Salman, subtly though, and had lofty words of advice for the mercurial Khan.

Hrithik had said: “It’s not heroic to laugh or make fun of a filmmaker just because his box-office collections are not up there with yours (referring to Salman’s Dabangg)...In my opinion a hero never gloats. When you are super successful, it should in fact make you more gracious and loving. This is the time one should use to turn even enemies into friends...”
Hrithik’s words obviously did not go down well with Salman, who has now opened a new front against the star.

We know that Hrithik’s last two films - Kites and Guzaarish - have flopped at the box office. He is desperately banking on Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara to resurrect his sagging career. The film will release on May 27, next year.

But Hrithik is going to face a tough competition from Salman. Yes, Salman recently met with producer Bhushan Kumar of his upcoming film Ready and convinced Kumar to release the film on May 27, the same day Hrithik’s film is up for release. The intention is clear - to destroy Hrithik’s film at box office.

Bhushan Kumar has confirmed meeting Khan to decide the film’s release date. He also says that he’s not concerned with the fact that Hrithik’s film is coming on the same day.

Salman have collision with Katrina again

salman1

Salman’s Ready seems to be on a collision course with Katrina Kaif’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara at the box office and the impending tussle has got industry tongues wagging as no one had expected the “once in love” couple to be fighting it out commercially.

Says an industry observer, “One knew that Ready was well on its way towards completion but there were no hints about its release plans. On the other hand, the release of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was announced weeks ago and it was always going to be May 27. However, with Salman releasing Ready on the same date, it will be nothing short of a major clash.”

While Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is touted to be a fun, youthful film with a cast comprising Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin, Ready is a family entertainer with Asin as Salman’s co-star.

“Thankfully the films seem to be targeting different audience bases, otherwise it would have been a calamity,” says another insider, “Knowing the sensibility of Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is expected to be more urban centric and would be targeting the multiplexes. On the other hand, Ready brings director Anees Bazmee and Salman together again after No Entry and they would be looking at the masses for bringing in the moolah.”

One also wonders whether there are more issues here other than Salman and Katrina. Hrithik is of course not very happy about Salman’s recent taunt that “not even a dog went to see Guzaarish”, and he has not hidden his feeling about it. So the battle might just be between Salman and Hrithik instead of Salman and Katrina. After the debacles of Kites and Guzaarish, Hrithik must have been looking forward to a solo release but unfortunately he is now up against Salman Dabangg Khan and punters would definitely put their money on the mighty Khan. One would have expected the makers to comment on the issue but neither Anees Bazmee nor Zoya Akhtar were available for comments.

A Cold war came to end between Salman and John

john and Salman1

After four long years, Salman Khan and John Abraham have decided to bury their differencess.

It seems the cold war has ended once and for all.

The declaration of the ’end of hostilities’ came at a time when nobody expected it. The two met each other accidentally at Mehboob studios. On facing each other, instead of turning away, they smiled at each other and hugged.

Salman, with a reputation for being unforgiving to his opponents, is busy making friends. It seems, the success of ’Dabangg’ has made him much more relaxed than before!

Salman eyes are affected

salman1

The macho Salman Khan can boast of more than what meets the eye. Well, literally, figuratively, every which way.

After a month of nursing an eye infection, SK is all set to resume filming for Anees Bazmee’s ‘Ready.’ He’d made a recent appearance at the ‘Being Human’ show sporting sunglasses fanning rumours that he’d opted for a blepharoplasty… a cosmetic surgery procedure to remove the “bags under the eyes” that had him all red eyed.

Word has it that the October schedule of ‘Ready’ went for a toss, owing to Salman’s sudden eye injury. Reportedly, SK has nodded assent to filming for ‘Ready’ in mid November.

Incidentally, the eye injury also delayed canning sequences for ‘Bodyguard’ starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, being produced by Salman’s sister Alvira

Salman wants to remake Tamil movie 'Vaaranam Aayiram

salman khan1

In fact, top actors are watching his films and are looking at the chances of remaking them. The latest superstar to be bowled over by the Suriya magic is none other than Salman ’Dabangg’ Khan.

It is reported that he was so impressed by the performance of the Kollywood superstar in ’Vaaranam Aayiram’ that he planned to act in a remake of the movie. The Tamil film has Suriya in the roles of a father and his son. In fact, he portrays to a nicety the three different stages in the life of a young man. So, Salman would be content with doing the role of the young man. The film was based on the life of director Gautham Menon’s father.

As we know, Aamir Khan starrer ’Ghajini’ was a remake of a Suriya film in Tamil with the same title. Currently, John Abraham is reprising the cop role Suriya did in ’Kaakha Kaakha’.

Going by what we have seen till date, this role could be the biggest challenge in the acting career of Salman.

Salman Khan rocks party

sallu11

Salman Khan’s ‘Being Human’ show at HDIL-India Couture Week was a big success with Bollywood stars like Preity Zinta, Rani Mukerji and Sushmita Sen bringing alive the bygone era on the ramp.

This innovative and creative show was preceded by the screening of a short audio-visual on the particular period accompanied with dance performances.

Preity Zinta kick started the ramp walk in a red knee-length dress representing 1920s. She was followed by Katrina Kaif who represented 1930s in a long red gown. Then, Rani Mukherji walked the ramp in a black velvet choli and white lehenga, bringing alive the elegance of the 1940s. The next decade was depicted by sexy Bipasha Basu in a short black outfit. Karisma Kapoor draped in a red saree brought out the rock and roll glamour of 1960s. Sushmita Sen came up with the spirit of 1970s in a multi-coloured kaftan top and golden mini skirt. Priyanka Chopra was dressed in a white baby-doll dress to represent the silver screen`s glam girls of the 1980s. Kareena came across in a smart and sexy black power suit depicting the women of 1990s.

However, the man to steal the show from these gorgeous women was Salman Khan who wore red trousers and a black trench coat with glares and walked the ramp with a smile.

Salman Khan is stuck on Sonakshi Sinha

sonakshi-sinha1
During the shoot of Farah Khan’s film Tees Maar Khan, the idea of another film sprouted. Farah’s editor-husband planned Joker with Akshay Kumar in the lead, which the star will also co-produce. But here is the real problem? Who will play the female lead. Salman Khan has started pushing Sonakshi Sinha’s name.
The buzz has it that both Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are in the running for the role. If Kat has expressed her desire to be in the film to Akki, Deepika is the natural choice. The new twist is that Sallu is recommending Sonakshi; the starlet is the new ‘it’ thing in Bollywood and is already there for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick due to Sallu’s reference.

On the other hand, Deepika recently commented that she was never approached for Joker. So, who is in and who is out can take a bit long to sort out. Meanwhile, you enjoy the spicy rumours.

Salman Khan says that Aamir is No.1

aamir1

Bollywood star Salman Khan is so impressed with Aamir Khan after watching "Peepli Live" that he has given him the title of "Mr.Midas touch".

"Mr. Midas touch has produced a picture. Midas touch ’matlab ke’ (means) Aamir Khan. ’Peepli Live’ has a mad-ass touch. Especially the press should see the film," Salman posted on his Twitter page.

With Aamir’s last three films -- "Taare Zameen Par", "Ghajini" and "3 Idiots" - declared blockbuster hits, Salman seems to have chosen an apt expression for his colleague.
"I didn’t let Aamir touch me after the film. Agar mujhe gold mein badal deta toh? (What if he touched me and I would have transformed into gold?)," Salman quipped.

"Peepli Live" is a satire on farmers’ suicides and it has been directed by Anusha Rizvi and produced by Aamir Khan Productions Pvt Ltd. The movie is in the spotlight for its slick promos and quirky music. "Everybody should watch this film. It is comedy, tragedy, khulasa, sansani, breaking news...," said Salman.

Salman make sure the contestants don’t turn too voyeuristic

salman1

Salman Khan seems to have matured a lot over the years. The actor, who was once known for his short temper, is now even laughing at himself on occasions. At the launch of Bigg Boss 4, when Salman was asked how would he deal with the inmates of the house, the actor shot back saying, “I have lived with inmates, so I’d be happy to deal with them.”

Salman will be the fourth celebrity to watch over the contestants, after Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan in the first three seasons. But he wouldn’t want to be inside the house, he says. “I wouldn’t want the camera to constantly follow my private life. But yes I am looking forward to have some fun with them. I have watched the show and enjoyed it immensely and this time I’ll enjoy it more because I’ll be the host,” he says. “With due respect to Shilpa Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan, I plan to make the show more interesting,” adds the actor on a cheeky note.

But when asked that if he had no choice, who would he prefer to be locked up with, Salman retorts, “Many whose names I can’t reveal to you. But yes, if Sanjay Dutt comes along, we will have great fun.”

Salman says that he’ll make sure the contestants don’t turn too voyeuristic. Speaking of controversies on the show, he says, “Competition is always there in any field. As long as it is healthy it is fine. Bigg Boss has always confused me. It is amazing to see how people react under unique circumstances and to what level they can go to win the show. People enter the house as celebrities but once inside they become real people.”

Salman’s previous show Dus Ka Dum was a huge hit, which raises expectations for Big Boss. “I am a common man. I have a lot of respect for my audience. I don’t care about this celebrity image and I connect to people because I don’t differentiate. Moreover I’m a straightforward person who can’t play politics and mask my feelings,” he confesses. Speaking of the real big boss in his life he says, “It’s my dad. He controls all my actions and reactions.”

Astrologers predict bad news for Salman-Katrina

03poste1

Bollywood princess, Katrina Kaif will turn 26 tomorrow i.e. July 16 this year. She had entered the industry at the age of 20, and ever since then, the actress has been constantly questioned about her relationship with Salman Khan.

Bhavikk Sanggvhi, an Astro numerologist talking about Kats personal life says that, destiny doesn’t store her marriage with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

“On the personal front, Katrina will not marry Salman and if she does, then it will not last long. They are completely different persons. Salman is a Number 9 (December 27, 1965) ruled by Mars (Number 9), Number 8 (Saturn - Capricorn) and Number 6 (Venus), while Katrina is born on July 16, 1984 which makes her a Number 7 (Neptune) person in numerology. Being ruled by Number 7, she is also ruled by Number 2 (Moon) as these two numbers always go hand in hand. She is a Cancerian (ruler Moon and Neptune - Numbers 2 and 7 again) and her destiny number adds up to 9 (Mars). They share just the Number 9 in common but nothing else.
Numbers 7 and 9 do not gel well with difference of opinion being the main negative aspect. They both are different people with no similar ideologies but can be friends for sure.” says Bhavikk

Salman has always stood by his friends

salman4[1]1

Salman Khan’s staunch loyalty to the people he is close to is well known in the industry. Whether it’s co-stars, producers or directors, Salman has always stood by his friends in their time of need. It is also known that Salman agreed to star in the sequel to Andaz Apna Apna that has been in the pipeline for a while. So what’s the connection, you may wonder.

Well, we now hear that the entire sequel plan came about because of Salman’s penchant for standing by his friends. Veteran producer Vinay Sinha had been going through a bad patch for a while and approached Salman to do a film. Salman readily agreed, and after much deliberation, it was decided that a sequel to Andaz Apna Apna - released in 1994 and nominated for four major awards - should be made. Salman and Vinay (who was the producer of Andaz Apna Apna) had lengthy discussions about the script. The original film had been directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starred Salman, Aamir Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon.

The sequel got a shot in the arm with Salman and Aamir reviving their friendship recently. Vinay says, “Yes, I approached Salman and he agreed immediately. I was touched by his gesture. I plan to approach Rajkumar and Aamir now. I hope everything works out fine.”

Salman Khan just fell in love with Sri Lanka

Salman

Salman Khan is being very proactive with his movies these days. When he went to Sri Lanka recently, he fell in love with the place and shot an entire video himself to ensure the director would agree to shoot there for the film Ready.

Our source said, “Salman Khan just fell in love with Sri Lanka and found the place to be just apt for the movie. But Anees, the director, had prior commitments and could not do a recce of the location.” So Salman shot the video and showed it to Anees, who was convinced.

When contacted Anees Bazmee said, “Mauritius was definitely under consideration but we zeroed in on Sri Lanka for the shoot. Salman is so charged about the film that at times he would just call me out of the blue and ask me to come on the sets of Dabangg. We would have lengthy discussions there.”

Who will play the lead opposite for Salmam?

salman_katrina_310_031

The latest buzz is that it will be either Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif who will play the lead opposite Salman Khan in Bodyguard. Insiders also maintain that producer Atul Agnihotri is keen to have Katrina Kaif on board.

“Atul confided in friends that Katrina Kaif will play the lead in Bodyguard. There are talks on and Katrina has been given a brief about it.” But there were also reports that Deepika Padukone will play the lead. So was she an option? “Salman’s well wishers feel that he and Deepika will make a fresh pair. The two have not been paired together till date.” Bodyguard, a remake of a Malayalam film by the same name, will be helmed by its original director Siddique. “Originally it was Boney Kapoor who was to produce Bodyguard and Atul Agnihotri was to direct. Boney however, gave away the rights to Atul who now feels it is only the original Bodyguard director Siddique who can do justice to it. His original version was a super duper hit down South, that had Harisree Asokan and Nayantara playing the central characters.” While Salman plays the role Harisree did in the original, who plays Nayantara’s role remains to be seen.

Actor Salman Khan's generosity tales continue to enthrall his fans

05sallu

Salman Khan’s generosity tales continue to enthrall his fans. Case in point: the actor’s recent act of benevolence at Wai, whilst shooting for ’Dabbang’.

During the filming, thronging hordes of fans would show up to have a dekko at the star, including a sizeable percentage of aged men and women. Khan interacted with many of them politely and often invited them over for lunch too. During his talks with them, he realized that most of them were ailing from poor vision or sore eyes.

Pronto… the star swung into action, had a Mumbai eye specialist summoned to Wai and conducted an eye camp on the sets!

Since a large number of them were ridden with cataract problems, Salman had them operated upon at Pune and also arranged for their post operative care.

Says a close source, "When first checked it was found that 26 aged people were suffering from cataract problems. Salman accompanied them to Pune for their surgeries. The following week he took another 22 old folks to Pune and had their cataract surgeries performed too."

Super star. Superb heart.
