Prakash Jha’s ’Rajneeti’ is hogging the limelight not just for the super onscreen chemistry between it’s lead pair: Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif , and rumours of an alleged link between the two, but also for Kaif’s demands.
Reportedly, the actress has assented to a hefty price cut, and is coaxing director Jha to illumine her in "more dramatic scenes" with her two time National award winning co star Ajay Devgn (’Zakhm’,’The Legend Of Bhagat Singh’) in ’Rajneeti.’
Kaif, enacting the only female protagonist in the Bhopal based political thriller is sanguine of bagging a National award, no less, if she plays her canny cards well.
Discloses a ’Rajneeti’ unit member, "Katrina doesn’t seem to hanker after the other awards. But on the sets she did mention to Jha that she was very keen on winning the National award and getting it would mean the world to her." Well, politics behind a political thriller …..
